A thorough review of utility costs can lead to significant savings on your monthly bills. New technology and practices can have a dramatic affect on decreasing these costs.
Most utility companies will offer no-cost audits. These audits will be able to provide you with available rates, time of day usage, billing practices and accuracy, energy saving technology, and conservation policies and procedures. It is important to remember that utility rates, especially for high volume users, are negotiable.
It is recommended that your employees be aware of the cost of your company’s energy bills as conservation has to involve everyone in the company.

Walker is a Senior Auditor in our Shreveport office. He received his Bachelor of Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. Prior to returning to his hometown of Shreveport and joining Heard, McElroy & Vestal, Walker worked for KPMG in Jackson and Memphis, and more recently as a financial reporting advisor for FedEx Corporate.
