Tax Planning & Preparation
HMV prepares federal and state tax returns
for individuals, families, and family businesses. All returns are subject
to an independent tax department review to assure accuracy and completeness.
The HMV staff remains current on federal and state tax laws and legislation
and utilizes this knowledge to conduct tax planning and preparation,
thereby assisting clients with maximizing profitability.
Sometimes taxes are not the issue. HMV helps families determine
appropriate levels of giving to the next generation, including
cash gifts in trust, outright,
or paper transfers of a family partnership. HMV helps family members of all
ages. We assist in the early planning for children's college, and we are independent
advisors for children responsible for the care of elderly parents.
