After working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Houston, Claire joined the tax department at Heard, McElroy & Vestal in 2012. She works in the Shreveport office as a Tax Manager and her responsibilities include communicating with clients to discuss present and future tax saving opportunities, developing certain tax planning tactics, and completing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts. Claire also researches current tax laws and regulations. Claire is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
Involvement in the community is important to Claire, as she is currently a board member of the Fuller Center for Housing of NWLA, member and former chairman of the Holy Angels Champions for Individuals with Disabilities as well as a member of the Finance Committee for the Holy Angels’ Board of Directors. She was a past participant in the Louisiana Association of Non-Profit Organizations Leadership Class and the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. Claire received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and and Master of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
