Steve joined Heard, McElroy and Vestal in 2010 in the Retirement Plan Services departent. As an RPS Senior, Steve provides consulting services for all types of retirement plans, employers, and plan participants, and performs all applicable year-end compliance and discrimination testing in compliance with ERISA. Additionally, Steve calculates and analyzes plan contributions, loans, and distributions. Before joining HMV, Steve was a Retirement Plan Administrator at Werntz & Associates in Shreveport from 1999-2010.

Steve is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Shreveport where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He currently maintains a membership with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
