Joel has joined HMV’s Tax department as a Staff in the Longview location. He has four years of experience prior to joining the firm. As a Staff, his responsibilities include preparing federal and state tax returns primarily for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships.

Joel graduated magna cum laude from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting followed by a Master of Accountancy. He is currently studying to sit for the CPA exam.
