Kirby joined HMV in the Audit department in the Shreveport location as Staff. Prior to joining the firm, she interned with Crossmark Management Group in the Accounting department for two years. As Audit Staff, her responsibilities as Staff include performing audits of closely held businesses, financial institutions, governmental entities, and not-for-profit organizations.

Kirby graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. As a student, Kirby served as a member of Beta Alpha Psi,  Phi Beta Lambda, Union Board, First College Leadership, Phi Mu Fraternity, Louisiana Tech BCM Leadership, and Tech Leadership Council. She is currently studying to sit for the CPA exam.
