Aric joined Heard, McElroy & Vestal in Shreveport in December 2025 after previously working at KPMG LLP for over five years. He uses his experience in tax planning and preparation for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. He has received specialized training in the oil and gas industry and has experience with corporate transitions and acquisitions.

Aric joins as a key member of the tax compliance and planning team. In 2018, Aric earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Southern Arkansas University. He returned to Southern Arkansas in 2019 and earned his Master’s of Business Administration.

Aric has since earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and also holds professional affiliations with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA).
