Nicholas C. Courville, CPA

Nick joined Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC in May 2011 and became a
Partner in July 2019. As a Partner in the Audit Department, he leads
audits and attestation engagements for closely held businesses,
financial institutions, and not-for-profit/governmental organization.
He provides technical guidance on complex accounting issues and
ensures effective communication of solutions to clients and
engagement teams. Prior to joining HMV, Nick began his career at
KPMG, LLP as an Audit Associate, gaining valuable experience with
large and complex engagements.

Nick is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a graduate of Northwestern
State University (NSU), where he received a Bachelor of Science in
Accounting in 2010. He has been recognized for his professional and
community leadership, including induction into the NSU College of
Business Hall of Distinction (2021), recognition as a “40 Under 40”
honoree by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce (2014),
and participation in the Greater Shreveport Leadership Program
(2014) and the Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organization
Community Leaders Program (2013).
