Evan joined Heard, McElroy & Vestal in January 2026 in Shreveport after working at KPMG LLP for 4 years. He uses his experience in tax planning and preparation for individuals, partnerships, and trusts in addition to a specialized training in the taxation of the retail industry and oil and gas. Evan is a key member of the compliance, tax planning and return review. He has experience working on returns from all 50 states, and complex allocation partnership agreements. Additionally, Evan has experience with the Fixed Asset Cost Segregation and Large Acquisition Sales.

Evan graduated from Hendrix College with a Bachelor of Accounting. For the advancement of his professional education, he completed his Masters in Accounting at Hendrix College in 2021, and his CPA certification the following winter. He is a member of the AICPA and LCPA.

Since moving to Shreveport in 2021, Evan has been involved in the community, serving at Celebration Church and with various other charitable organizations in the Shreveport area.
