Austin joined the firm as an intern for the firm’s oil and gas subsidiary, Aliign Mineral Management, LLC, in April 2018. Simultaneously, he worked with the Accounting Services department at HMV, and in February 2019, he transitioned his internship to the Tax department for the busy season.

In 2020, Austin graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Louisiana State University – Shreveport and has since joined HMV’s tax department as Tax Staff. Austin focuses on the preparation of tax returns for corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, individuals, and trusts. Austin recently passed the CPA exam and is now a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants (LCPA).
